About

I started writing software for a living in 2015, building web tools for an animation studio in Bengaluru, then doing product engineering at a logistics startup. In 2018 I moved to the Gulf and spent five years as a fullstack JavaScript consultant, shipping for teams at Neom, G42, Tamm and the Indian Energy Exchange, among others.

In 2023 I started Hoomans. It began as a development studio doing client work, ran a staffing line for a while, and settled into what it is now: a small Dubai-based studio that designs and builds software, with AI products at the center.

The current bet is a WhatsApp AI responder that answers a business’s leads in seconds. The Now page has the details.

Hoomans is deliberately small: me on product & strategy, a designer who handles design end to end, senior engineers handling engineering and no layers in between. I split my time between India and Dubai.
